Welcome to Grass Point Farms. We offer a very special line of milk, cheese and butter products. The milk for our dairy products comes solely from family farms where the cows graze on the lush pastures of Wisconsin’s rolling hills. This traditional approach to dairy farming allows cows to spend their days grazing on the grasses that are their natural diet. It’s this diet that produces the purest, most wholesome milk possible free of artificial growth hormones and antibiotics. Our written and enforced grazing standards are a first in the industry. These standards are filled with detailed specifications regarding all aspects of running a pasture based dairy farm.

We offer a wide variety of Grass Point Farms milk, cheese and butter products. Our milk comes in all the sizes and varieties that you buy now. We make a variety of cheeses ranging from Monterey Jack to mozzarella to cheddar to Blue and other specialty cheeses. Grass Point Farms cheese selection can be found in both the retail as well as the deli sections at your favorite stores. Our butter comes in quarters in a one pound package.

Our grass fed dairy products are different from the dairy products you are used to buying. Studies suggest that the milk that comes from cows on a natural grass fed diet is higher in omega-3 fatty acids, regarded by experts to be “heart healthy” fats. Other studies have shown additional nutritional benefits to pasture raised dairy products.

At Grass Point Farms, we are deeply committed to the health and well being of the cows. The pasture is the key to healthy cows. Allowing cows to roam the pastures and eat their natural diet of grasses produces cows that live longer, have fewer health problems and produce higher quality milk.

The Environment |

Allowing cows to graze on pastures not only promotes much greater health for the animals, but also has a very positive affect on the environment. Rather than bringing food to the cows, grazing allows the cows to go to the food, saving considerable amounts of diesel fuel typically used for harvesting and delivering feed in a confinement operation. Manure is dealt with continuously and naturally, avoiding a variety of issues found in large scale confinement operations.
